Hey Guys! Just a little update on how the site's coming along. It's "online", though we're not giving out the link until we get a few bugs straightened out. If these bugs aren't fixed in a couple weeks, we might just give out the link as a beta version anyway, since they're relatively minor (picture thumbnails are getting squished, that's the main issue ) I'm working on revamping our .COM site (the social networking one is .NET) so soon I'll have a link to that, which is just their personal site about horse spirituality and leadership with horses, etc.
I've posted our facebook- feel free to friend us, or join our group, "Horses Know The Way Home", and you can see all of our photos, instead of just the few I choose to post here.

What is "Horses Know the Way Home" (AKA: HWKTH)?
Horses know the Way Home is a social networking website based around horses, and people's relationship with them. Whether you're a horse owner, just a rider, or just someone who appreciates from afar, you can come here to meet others who love horses as well.
Beyond that, the site owner Brian will be using the .COM portion of this site (the social networking will be .NET) to share with everyone his methods of "horse whispering", and sharing a spiritual connection with your horse.

What is a "Social Networking site" exactly?
Well, a social networking site is any site that allows you to network, or branch out and meet other people, by means of a profile. Examples of this are Facebook, Myspace, and.. oh right, DA! HKTWH is going to be more facebook styled, however, and a little more simple since we don't have the amazing server strength that they have. But we will have forums, profiles including wall posting and photo sharing, networking, etc!

Who is Brenda Lee?
Brenda Lee is HWKTH owner, Brian Reid's horse! She's a Shire mare, and boy is she beautiful! Not to mention how friendly, and fun she is. Brian and her play tag, kickball, she gives the dogs rides on her back (and humans too, of course ) and she goes swimming with everybody, too!

I'm not so sure about horse spirituality, but I'm interesting in a Social Networking site for horse lovers, can I still join?
Yes, of course! While Brian does share his work on the .COM site, you can still come on just to use the .NET part of it, and maybe you can check it out and change your mind- or not! Same goes for the other way around. You can just join the site for the insight into spirituality with your horse (or other animal, too), and not use the social part. It's all up to you what you click, after all.

Who are YOU?
Haha, well, I'm Bree! My own DA account is ~Brearune, and while that's a pretty fresh account, I've been a member of DA under a couple different names since 2003 or so, though my earliest account has been lost in the sands of time rather unfortunate, since that would make me something of a DA veteran, but alas, I lack proof! Oh well, at least I still have one or two older accounts to prove I'm not a DA n00b

Where is this site?
Currently the site is under construction, we're hoping to have it open within a month or so. Right now I'm merely scouting out interested parties, and letting you all know ahead of time what you'll find.

I'm interested! What do I do now?
Just DevWatch this account, ~Brenda-Lee! I'll assume anyone who watches me wants to know when the site is open, and what the link is. So once the site is open, I'll check out the watch list, and send you all a message letting you know. At that point, you will be free to do what you want, whether you continue watching me where I will continue commenting and faving and posting updates from Brian's spiritual works, or remove the watch and just frequent the website; it's all fine by me

Is there anything in this for me?
Well, as long as you have me watched, I will watch you back, and I promise to always comment and give my insight into your horse related works! It's my job here, after all! So there will be something in it for you as far as watching me goes, to hold you over until the site is all up and ready! (and even afterwards, I'll certainly continue to do so as much as my time permits )
